Dr. Samuel Wenyah

Mr. Samuel Wenyah is a dynamic sustainability scholar and policy practitioner with interdisciplinary training in climate change, sustainable development, and political science. He holds an MScR in Sustainable African Futures from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Ghana. He is currently pursuing a joint PhD in Management from the University of Witwatersrand, and PhD in Sustainable African Futures from the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on Waste management, Circular economy transitions, Climate change adaptation and mitigation measures, and Just transition frameworks, particularly in African settings.

Mr. Wenyah has led and contributed to projects spanning plastic waste management, solar energy deployment, and resettlement impact assessments, working with institutions including the Government of Ghana, African Review of Economics and Finance (AREF) Consult, the University of Ghana, and WANEP. He also actively publishes his work in the field of Climate change and Political Science and is the author of a book chapter on anti-corruption in Africa’s public sector published by Palgrave Macmillan. He brings to his work strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, leadership in grassroots initiatives, and a proven ability to bridge academic inquiry with policy relevance.
